This wonderful and very spicy romance intrigues from the first paragraph. The jaded ‘Virile Viscount’ Hawkesbury is preparing for the lusty, busty final performance of the girls of his Pleasure House. The modestly clothed, mousy Lady Wellsby stumbles into the auditions of his naked harem with a business proposal. Her proposal stirs his stagnating mind and even more surprisingly, his spent libido.

The characters are so well developed, they are living, breathing entities whose lives and escapades draw you in and take you on this intriguing, sexy romp with them. The setting is vibrant and presented in great detail and the author’s writing skill is clean, and authentic to the era. This story delves into the seedier underbelly of the Regency period, with a hero who, although deeply immersed in the baser side of life, has credible, altruistic reasons for doing so. All aspects of this book are well researched and beautifully presented. If you love Regency and hot romance, don’t miss this book.

A hot and steamy read!, December 14, 2013

Lady Chrissie Wellsby and her friends want to learn techniques to keep their men happy. They have done some research and have decided that Justin Tremayne, Viscount Hawkesbury, is the person to do it. Known as the Virile Viscount, Justin owes a brothel and holds house parties that are known to be very decadent.

Chrissie visits the Viscount at his home to get his cooperation in educating her and her friends in exchange for information about the location of his mother and sisters whom he has spent years trying to locate. Unfortunately for Chrissie, the Viscount is holding auditions for his brothel and mistakes her for a lady of the night. After getting that all straighten out, the Viscount finally agrees to allow the ladies to attend his house party on one condition, he wants them to visit his brothel to see what things they might encounter at the party.

Justin thinks that inviting them to the brothel, the ladies will change their minds about wanting to attend the house party. Unfortunately for Justin, the opposite occurs. The ladies are even more determined than ever to attend the party. Will the ladies learn what they want during their weekend of sin? Will Justin find his sisters and mother?

Unlike some of the erotic novels that I have read, this book actually had a great story to go along with it. I loved the banter between Chrissie and Justin. The secondary characters were a delight too. I loved seeing Gillian and Edward find their way back to each other and enjoyed the rivalry between Bart and Thomas in gaining Anna’s regard. Overall it was a very enjoyable read.

This is the first book I’ve read by Ms. Love, and she doesn’t disappoint. The concept of the story is fresh, and the romance between Justin and Chrissie is well developed. Since I’m not normally an erotica reader, I was happy that Justin doesn’t have any desire to share Chrissie with anyone. However that in no way lowered the heat level.

Maybe I didn’t understand…I thought it was to be a series. It’s not!

This is basically chapter 1 of a book. You have to purchase the other chapters to find an ending.
    Not interested.

I do not really write reviews because I am not very good at it, but I felt this story needed one.
This is just the very beginning of the story and it is pretty short, but I think it was an awesome beginning. It is very descriptive in parts and has some content that may upset some people, but I think the author is just being true to what occurred and giving the reader background for the main character and his feelings. You meet Daniel when he is just 13 and he has a traumatic experience involving his family. I have just started the second part to this Saga and cannot wait to see how he grows into a man.
I actually won this book in a contest in which the author K.E. Saxon sent me the first 4 parts to this story. However, if the story continues the way it is going, I will be purchasing the last 2 parts.

I had a lot of hope for this serialization when I started, but I have to admit I was disappointed when I got to the end of the first episode. It started out well, the authors depictions of the aftermath of the violence that occurred where very evocative. I had a hard time though with Daniel’s conversations with his GodFather. They just didn’t seem right or realistic in light of the events and the sights that Daniel was surrounded with at the time. This first part of the story was engaging despite this and would have kept me intrigued until I got to the end and would perhaps have led me to searching out the next installment. The second part comes to an end far too quickly, making a tremendous jump through time to an older Daniel. There wasn’t really any sort of cliff hanger here that would make me ravenous for the next installment. Instead it left me feeling sort of undecided about whether or not I’ll take the time to read the next installment.
