Tempted

Lucy Reid has always prided herself on her self-control, and her ability to keep her emotions and desires in check. The arrival of her new boss, Jason Young, has her co-workers competing to see who can bed him first. Basically, you’re getting three very hot sex scenes strung together with a loose plot. If you’re looking for depth of character, emotion, or plot line (or anything besides, ahem, penetration), you’re in the wrong place. If you’re looking for some brief spicy reading, this novella is on the money.

Sexual Harassment is now SEXY???? Don’t say No if you mean Yes., August 23, 2013

Characters: Lucy Reid is not in the running for the prize of a weekend spa package to the first girl in the office to bed the gorgeous new boss, Jason Young because she is “big”. Jason doesn’t know about the pool, but he wants Lucy, especially after seeing her stretch and noticing her large assets that she normally hides behind a conservative blazer. Despite her continual “no’s” he convinces her to have sex with him in an elevator, on his desk and in his bed.

Writing Style: So the story reminded me of Laura Kaye’s Hearts in Darkness short story, but not nearly as appealing.

Plot: Lucy Reid and Jason Young are co-workers that seem to dislike each other but secretly have erotic thoughts about the other. when they are trapped temporarily in an elevator, their desires cannot be contained and they get it on in the elevator before being almost discovered by the emergency crew. Having had her once, Jason can’t stop thinking about her despite all the other model like females throwing themselves at him in the office. Lucy gets over her fears of being fired for inter-office romance and welcomes Jason’s advances

Romance: You won’t find romance, just sex and dominance. Jason wants to fulfill Lucy’s sexual needs despite her larger size (please, size 12 on a 5’8″ girl it NOT large!) He is a breast man and she has what he needs/wants. I hate books that make sexual harassment appear sexy. If you don’t mean No than don’t say it.

Sex and Violence Rating: X – Physically Aggressive, Bondage, Anal Sex. Really looks like sexual harassment to me.
