Teasing Trent: The Alexanders, Book 0.5

The only thing Trent’s best friend has ever asked of him is to keep an eye on his twin sister while he’s deployed. Keeping her company on her birthday shouldn’t be too hard. He just has to remember the promise he made to himself in college to keep his hands off her.

Ever since Mara walked into her brother’s dorm room freshman year and came face to face with a shirtless Trent, she’s known he was The One. He’s been right there with her twin brother as her biggest supporter or shoul

    My Review:
This is one of those fun, short little erotic romances that is fabulous to read in a couple of hours. Mara is evil, but in a totally good way. She wants Trent in her bed and is not adverse to a bit of underhanded trickery to get him there. Trent feels that he will be doing a disservice to his best friend Matt if he gives in to the passion that he feels for Mara. But when he begins to see that Mara is all grown up, all bets are off.

These are two good friends that are on the cusp of something really fabulous. Luckily, there is a blizzard hitting that just may help them along.

I really enjoyed this one. Mara and Trent are having fun together and are really good together which makes this a really fun, sexy read. There was a fabulous twist at the end that I didn’t see coming, but it was the absolutely PERFECT way to end the book. Just fun and sexy!

This was a novella, so it got to the point right away. Of course you wish most novellas that you like can be longer but this read was still fun.

Trent has been best friends with Matt since college. And since then, he has always had a thing for Matt’s twin sister Mara. While Matt is away he asks Trent to keep and eye on his sister and to also take her out for her birthday. Trent isn’t looking forward to this as he is trying to keep his hands off Mara. Mara invites Trent over and she decided that she is going to take what she has been waiting for since college.

This was a cute read for me. There are a lot of good novellas but I wish they could be longer. I really liked what Mara did by using yoga to tease Trent. after which the book steamed up. In a way you didn’t see much of Matt but I think Matt should get a little story for himself.

I liked the mini chase that was going on between Trent & Mara. Both had feelings for one another but didn’t know how exactly to react on it. Trent held back because Mara’s twin brother was his best friend. Mara held back just because, but she finally made her move, and convinced Trent to go with it. The sex scenes were good. They weren’t overly erotic if you are looking for that sort of thing, but they were good enough. The ending was really cute as well with Mara’s brothers reaction to the two…I’ll leave that for future readers to discover. Overall a good read, and I’d recommend.
