i’ve wanted to read a story like Sweet Savagery for eons! and i’ve finally found it in this story. It’s so hot that what started out as revenge evolves into some sweet, passionate loving, between an uber hot Alpha male, who cnt help but fall in love with his captive, the sweet innocent virgin. Be warned that it is a bodice ripper romance, so if ur not into these kinda story themes then this book is not for u, but if ur into super hot loving with some reluctance on the h part, then ur gonna love IT! enjoy all u kinky minded erotica lovers 😉

That’s a weird thing to say right? But seriously, there’s a whole bunch of plot thrown in that goes WAY beyond what’s in the book description. First of all, Louis has a mistress and she’s seriously put out about Annabelle’s presence, so she starts weaving this web of evil to do away with Annabelle… and then we find out that Annabelle’s father is a serious villain and not just towards Louis but also towards Annabelle… and it all seems like the author was just grasping at straws to make the mistress and the father as AWFUL as possible (even if it became utterly ludicrous) so that Louis looked good by comparison. Honestly, I would have rather just seen his character turn around on its own, due to Annabelle’s sweet influence rather than having to deal with the suddenness of extra story lines halfway through the book (seriously, how many times can one woman be kidnapped / have her life threatened in the space of 20 pages? A heck of a lot more than I thought possible apparently!).

It was a fairly promising concept, but the extras that the author decided to throw in just really took away from the main storyline and from my enjoyment of the book.

I love a good bodice ripper romance but this was just bunch of sex with a few words in between. I can’t stand it when the women has no backbone and just automatically gives in. There was no character development and not much story. Rather boring.
