    I should have expected that they were all stories that would be continued, but I thought that, like other book sets I have read, they would be stand alones from a series. They were good stories and I enjoyed them until the endings left me wanting to know what happens next to the main characters. Yes, this might be a good marketing ploy, and I did purchase a book for one of the first stories, but by the end I was tired of appetizers. I have read several of her stand alone books and enjoyed them, and this is worth the price as long as you realize what you are getting.
