Safe Word

FRIENDS MAKE THE BEST LOVERS…OR DO THEY?

Ambitious, overachieving Melody had her whole life figured out…until she realized her plan was making her miserable. She abandoned her chosen career and moved back home feeling like a failure.

Then a run-in with someone from her past changed everything…

When they were kids, Zane was simply the pesky older brother of one of Melody’s school friends. But now he’s all grown up and hot as hell.

Started out boring. Half way through the book became worth reading. The characters were good. The story was okay. The suspense was lacking in the first half. You need a good editor to correct that problem of a slow start. Shane

Well Written, but…too much pony business, March 18, 2015

A pleasant surprising ending, but the pony scenes ruined this for me. Just too much emphasis on that type of sexual play.

More vanilla than anything else, March 6, 2015

This isn’t really a book much about BDSM, its more about people learning what it’s about. Both characters in the book are learning and in that learning process the ‘dom’ stumbles and makes horrible mistakes, ones that if were made with a person who is new to the world would make them run for the hills. No Dom, a true dom, ever gets mad at the sub for using a safe word. Aftercare is totally lacking in this book. The story could well be written about a regular vanilla couple who chooses to add a little kink to their lives. I enjoyed the book, don’t misunderstand, but its not really that much about having and using a safe word as the title indicates. The story line is good, the characters are ok, but its not a keeper for me.
