Following Alex and Angela, with Alex as the main story teller, but told at times from both of their perspectives.
When I first started reading, I admit my heart sunk a little, it seems for the first chapter or so, to be very perfunctory and emotionless, and had I not been reviewing the book I would have stopped, however this would have been a shame, because once the book gets going its really rather good!
Married with two young children, living in Spain, Alex and Angela are bored! But it is Alex who suggests rather tentatively that they consider an open relationship, and he is extremely shocked when Angela doesn’t just agree to it, she does so eagerly jumping straight in to make the most of her new found freedom.
It seems that she has been in contact with an old flame online already, and Alex’s suggestion gives her the permission she needs to meet up with him, and whilst Alex after suddenly being given permission to do more than just flirt with women loses interest, Angela is very quickly arranging to meet up with Marco, and after she does so, she explains everything to Alex in great detail (writing it all down at first), the sex scenes are good, graphic but realistic with plenty of passion.
Alex slowly begins to realise Angela is becoming more and more attractive to him, whilst Angela is admitting her true feelings and desires; and it becomes clear the two don’t match.
We follow Alex and Angela through swinging, BDSM and Russian billionaires, before it all falls apart.
But all is not lost and after soul searching and a voyage of discovery for both of them – will a happy ending be possible?
It would have been five kinky kats, but for the speed sometimes in telling the story.
