A very short read and not enough to make a good review. There was a hint of a good storyline but the book was too short to expand it to what could have been a fun book.

I found this story a bit confusing at the beginning. It starts out with Max finding out her fiance was cheating on her with another man… And there it seemed like the story was a bit raw. Then it jumps to Lisa… a character with absolutely no back story, who finds herself falling head over heels in love with Max’s shoes. Then it switches gears again, back to Max and her elevation of status in the group thing she does.
The bouncing back and forth really made me have to think, and I don’t like to think when I’m reading. Filling in blanks with my own imagination is not fun, and takes away quite a bit from the story.
I can’t say I care for what happens next, because to me, these two women could be the same person. she might just have a split personality or something… Oh well, I’m moving on.
