I truly enjoyed this book by Rue Chapman. I have not read her before, but will be looking for future novels. The main characters, Bella and Zeke are brought together by a twist of fate and a little alcohol. The story is set in the old west and is about a couple, who shows that love can blossom in the strangest ways and places. It is a spanking genre/DD story, but I love a good woodshed story. I highly recommend it and stayed up until 2 a.m. to finish it, which doesn’t happen very often.

A romp typical of the spanking romance genre, November 14, 2013

Bella’s life is turned upside down when her father dies in ruin, her engagement is broken, and she is forced to sell everything she owns. In desperation, she answers an ad for a mail order bride out West. Enroute to marry a man she’d never met, she is kidnapped by her new fiance’s neighbor (Zeke) with whom he has been feuding. Her escape attempt leads to a spanking, which leads to Zeke’s arrest, trial and conviction on circumstantial evidence for rape. He’s sentenced to hang. But she knows her kidnapper is not a bad man, so to save him, she marries him. From the beginning it’s a domestic discipline marriage…but can it be a loving one too?

Mail Order Mayhem is actually a fun romp of a story that I would consider to be typical and classic for the spanking romance genre. She’s naughty, he spanks her, she realizes the error of her ways and all is forgotten—until she’s naughty again. If you like spanking romances, this one will feel like comfort food—all the familiar goodness you’re used to. If you’re considering trying a DD novel for the first time, this one is a good representative sample of the genre.

I love the story and actually read the book twice, however since I am into erotica romance….it could have been a little more descriptive of the sexual scenes.
