You are one of ‘Thomas’s writers, you give us a sample for free, call it a novella, when it’s actually the first chapter of a book. I feel this is a lot like bait and switch, you lure us in so we will pay more in the long run, than if we had actually bought a whole book. I won’t buy the rest of this story, or any others you wrote….

Book was fairly well written. The characters did not have so much backstory that it took half the book to explain who they were. On the other hand, the characters did have enough back story that the reader understood their metamorphosis towards the end.

Good writing and good plot. Sounds like it gets more complicated in the next book. I have read other ebooks by this author that I like a little bit more but still okay.
