His Absolute Obsession is a very sensual story. It is sexy and seductive, but not raunchy or dirty. There is still a story being told, and it is easy to follow from beginning to end. 23 year old Elise Tanner finds herself trapped inside the library with her 29 year old director Lucent Storme. He is charming and elegant, although Elise has heard rumors that he has a darker side. She does not think highly of him, yet finds him magnetic at the same time.

While one part of her wants to see if the rumors are true, she is also apprehensive and not self confident. Lucent Storme takes advantage of this and begins teasing her. The sexual tension is so real that you can almost feel it jump off the page and grab you. The anticipation is almost too much, and you will find yourself glued to the pages as you feel an insatiable need to find out what happens next. Though short, this is a very exciting read!

This is very light reading, but it is also entertaining. I found it to be a great form of escapism. It was easy for me to imagine that I was Elise Tanner, and I got a titillating thrill out of all the scenes. Although I am very vanilla myself, the writing was very well done and made it easy for me to relate.

I highly recommend this book, even if you don’t usually read erotica. There is enough talk of BDSM to pique your interest, but it is never the focus. The author uses suggestive language and images to paint a picture, rather than immersing the reader in a new scene head first. This is primarily a story, one that leads the way and builds a foundation for the rest of the series. It is more suggestive than hard core. It is easy to let your imagination run free and let yourself feel the excitement of the moment. I can easily give it five stars and can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

Fantastic book! Elise was adorable with her questions and curiosity, and Lucent was wonderful with his patience and protective nature. He came across as a little overbearing sometimes, but not in a bad way. You could really tell he was interested in Elise, though I’m not sure she could see it yet.

First off, I would like to say that I am a huge fan of stories that have more than one book. I haven’t read the other books but I believe they are about someone else and you don’t have to read them to read this one..

    Now onto the book..

I really enjoyed this book. I like how this book is a set up for what’s to come and takes time to introduce the story and people and not just rush right in to everything like other books do. In doing this, it makes it more realistic, which I like. This book also doesnt have any BDSM in it but it leads the way, sets up the story line. The only thing that is a little odd is how the book introduces Lucent through Elise. I thought that could’ve been done a little better, but its such a minor thing that it really doesn’t even matter. Also, the book ends in a way like a Tv season..like you’re mad that it ended that way and have to wait a whole 6months for the new season to come out so you can see what happens. I like how it did this, HOWEVER, I wish I would’ve waited for the second book to come out before I read this one…

I am on like pins and needles waiting!
