Everyone needs a little bit of control, May 10, 2013

I came across this book by accident I thought it was a book my friend had recommended. It wasn’t but what it was … was an entertaining find. I am not into BDSM. However, reading this has got me wondering where my limits are? This is a great short READ and as much as I know about the subject matter it is written with style and grace. There is just enough to wet your appetite and get you ready to allow your control to be placed in Master/Dom Logan’s hands.

My one question is simply: Is the whole “I barely know you” a requirement? I noticed in this that the relationships start with the two hardly knowing each other. Which causes me to wonder how the trust is really cultivated in such a situation. Maybe I am too influenced by the media but that just seems awfully naive.

I liked it but I don’t like relationships that span more than one book.one book, one couple. That’s the way I roll!

Okay, let me start with this- the boxed set of this series is only 86 pages long for 2.99….UNBELIEVABLE!!! I can’t understand why the author thinks we’re dumb enough to fall for something like that??? Second, the title insinuates that it’s a BDSM love story-WRONG! This author knows absolutely nothing about the lifestyle- besides a quick look on the internet to get the definition of BDSM….She spent most of the book talking about it instead of actually writing it into a scene with the characters…..A lot of insinuation about the male being a Dom, However, I never saw much more than some hand holding above the head, yadda, yadda.. and I read the chapters(too short to be called a book or novel, heck, even a novella) The girl, well…..it was just all vanilla and the same old song and dance book theme….A lot of mix ups….In the beginning the author makes it sound like the girl is broke and can’t pay the ticket….Later on, she says she has thousands saved up and put away….HUH??? Anyway, read the free first seventeen pages and see what you think for yourselves…..I wouldn’t recommend this book: even if I had nothing else to read.

I just couldn’t finish reading this. Firstly, the protagonist is joining a publicly-known millionaire in an arranged marriage and they never met once. Secondly, her family ships her off like a fruit cake and they’re never heard from again. Thirdly, she is in love with a childhood friend but they’ve never dated or kissed, despite the feelings being absolutely reciprocated, Fourth, her “fiancé” shows her his dungeon of BDSM and it’s completely laughable. She’s 100% vaginal and shaking like a leaf.
This author knows nothing of BDSM culture. It’s horrible. Statistically speaking, a high-powered executive will more often seek a Dominant partner to offset the overwhelming control they maintain in business.
Asking a VIRGIN to be a Submissive is a no-no, unless that is what they’re seeking.
This character neither wanted nor desired to be submissive.
This would have been a more compelling read if the woman was trained to be a Dominant.

all the misspelled and misused words took my mind away from the story. Where was the editor?? Being new to Amazon e-books (hard to believe anybody still could be) I didn’t realize that anything given away free, really isn’t. This isn’t a book as advertised. Even though the description says only 35 pages I expected at least a short story. This is a CHAPTER, and the misleading labeling makes me angry. This is nothing but bait and switch. My problem is that I’ve taken the bait, hook, line and sinker and I want to read the rest, so whuchya gonna do?

I didn’t like this book at all. It had no parts of erotica in it and it spent way too much time with her mental rambling and mousy meekness!
