“Fan-freaking-tastic book. Ryan is more screwed up than Christian Grey, Gideon Cross, Tony Rawlings, etc….I loved this book, there was a TON I could relate to in this book, even right down to Iris being in the legal industry and Ryan and Iris were SCORCHING hot together.” – RomFan Reviews

I’m giving this two stars because it was free. The storyline is so over the top that you are literally catapulted along the mainline to crazy town. The heroine, I use that term loosely, seems to walk through life in an emotional haze. She is a lawyer without an ounce of ambition and no work ethic. The hero, cough inserted here, is just indescribable. He’s divorced, his six month old baby died, his mom is schizophrenic, he’s a recovering heroine addict, raped and beaten by his father and his fathers friends, abused by a female pedophile, attempted suicide at least twice and lest I forget he is not only in love with the female lead but he’s in love with another man as well. Whew, I’m exhausted just recapping that. But he is a multi millionaire, has a great body and can have intercourse for hours on end. That’s a positive, right? He wants to marry his lady love and continue his long term love affair with his main man too. No problem…his lady love is cool with that. She was also pretty understanding when the pedophile kidnapped her and tried to kill her. You know because all rational thought escapes her. This was just too much and it’s not even complete. Book two continues the saga of Iris and Ryan two crazy lovers just trying to navigate the mean streets of crazy town.

I am very confused about this book.
I wanted to keep reading, which tells me it’s a good book, but
I also really disliked alot that was written.
Maybe its my own values and beliefs, but I struggled with the whole bisexual theme. Not the bisexual thing it self, just the whole, that wasn’t seen as getting some on the side which it was.
Ryan hated that Alexis cheated on him, there was a scene that Nat made a comment about how she better not cheat on him. A lot of that was thrown around ,yet because his “brain sat in the middle of sexual interest” he could continue his affair with Nick.
Now, I understand Iris was concerned about him not having his freedom and that he may resent her if she put a stop to it , but come on… if he liked having sex with another woman as well as her, she wouldn’t be so understanding.
    It’s cheating regardless.
I also thought that he didn’t speak to nicely to her sometimes. Now her confidence was lacking at best ,yet he would put her down, him seeing Nick on the side couldn’t be helping in the confidence issue, “I love you but your not enough for me”.
I didn’t like how the money and good looks always came into play as well, it was almost like that was a good enough reason stay and put up with all the drama.
Like I said in the beginning, it was messed up.

Ok, this book is so crazy that i swear it gave me a headache. I think the author tried to fit too much into one story. Seoursly…. Biseaxuality, wife being ok with cheating husband ( man or womam still cheating), abusive parents them there was the 50 shades take, with the older woman and the 14 year old, the there is rape, drugs, ex wifes, bipolar disorder, dog rescue, kidnapping, etc etc etc. and by the way who calls the man you love and adore DUDE? And come on sex all night long? Taking over a hour to come ( the author exact words)and this after an hour of foreplay, oral yada yada. TOOO MUCH. and it need editting pretty bad. I had my head spinning. i just jumped pages at the time.
